Finally!

It took a while but it looks like someone in Europe might finally be getting the idea that the Greek Government needs a little bit of help!

Perhaps if the people who were so enthused about a United Europe would get off their duffs and act like one, this crisis could be mitigated.

Let's hope this meeting next week will help soothe the raw financial situation and possibly pave the way to stability.

Will it Never End?

What do I have to do to get rid of this cold? I feel like if I cough any harder I am going to bring up a lung!

Of course I feel bad enough that I am tired and achy and not all there, but do I feel sick enough to call out of work? NOOOO! Of course not. That would mean I can get something accomplished at home or, God forbid, get some rest. No I have to have all the detriments of being sick without any of the benefits. (Come to think of it, Are there really that many benefits of being sick?)

Well I am back ... to work anyway

I had no choice but to take off of Work on Friday. I was soooooo sick and sparing everyone the details, it was pretty bad!

I was able to get some things done, this weekend but not much. We did have my parents over to the house on Sunday to watch Superbowl XLIV (congratualtions Drew Brees and the Saints). I had a rough few days and I was considering taking off of work on Monday but at the last minutes I said let me try it out.

Aren't I wonderful? But now my head hurts, my sinuses hurt, my chest ... Long List Huh?.

But it will be lunch soon and hopefully I will be able to get some rest today. That will depend on how Nanette feels of course since she isn't feeling so hot either.

Did you ever have a day you knew you shouldn't have tried to go to work?

I did today! I feel so freaking sick it is ridiculous. Here I am being the little trooper. I was going to go home at lunch today but of course there are just big goings on everywhere I look.

Why do we always have crazy days when I feel sick?

Oh well, couple Advil and a stiff swig of Ouzo might get me back up and running for a while!

Screwed Myself Again!

Screwed the pooch yet again. I can't believe I hosed my server ... again! I seemed to think it was a good idea to update the kernel on my server. Apparently that was WRONG! I just needed to make it to the end of the April so I could get the new LTS version of Ubuntu, but NOOOOO. I had to do the update! Finally got everything working right and not I blew it all to shit!

So I guess there is one good thing in all this. I wanted to reformat one of the drives anyway. Of course Nanette is not going to be happy about this. It is going to mean more time away from the family at least for a day. And I also had trouble installing with the drives in last time but hopefully that was just using the LVM, so we will stay away from that of course.

Oh well, what can you do?

I've got a Secret!

So, here is the deal, I am 35 and up to giblets in debt. I work in a great industry, but I haven't been very long so I don't have "experience" to get a really good paying job. I have made a lot of really bad choices and am getting killed for them right now...

And I am happy and grateful that I was able to go through it all!

WHAT!!!!

That is right. I am happy I went through all this crap for a lot of reasons, but mostly is because i found a secret - The Secret. If you don't know anything about this, the Secret is about the Law of Attraction. The idea that anything you want in life, regardless of who big or small you can attract it to you, provided you have the correct attitude.

Some of it sounds crazy, some of it sounds anti-religious, some of it sounds like you are going to die penniless and alone. I first found out about this in December of 2006 and I though the guy who told me about was a loon! I thought this thing was a shame, but given a chance this really works. I have been wholeheartedly behind it for two days and I have already seen an incredible improvement in several areas of my life.

My whole purpose today is just to let everyone know what I've found. Take or leave it. Use it or not. I felt it was my responsibility to let everyone know what I have learned. I am the same person as yesterday and I will be the same person tomorrow.
